Through Coordinate’s unique partnership with Google, our team is starting to dive even deeper into traffic trends and how leveraging anonymised data feeds can help cities better plan for road closures and detours. After more than a decade of collecting historical traffic data, cities are now able to combine their own data with Google’s to better understand how traffic moves in their areas, where congestion occurs and how to better reroute traffic in the event of a planned or unplanned closures.
